This is the 3rd #speedutv that’s had a major fir This is the 3rd #speedutv that’s had a major fire. Here is a narrative that was posted.# make sure you check everything out close before you ride. “Was one of my buddies car. It didn’t roll. He was at the dunes going up hill turned around and on the way down his friend seen smoke from the rear and stopped him. He jumped out but the wind was horrendous. By the time they could get to the extinguishers the car was already completely up in flames. I’ve inspected what remains but there is hardly anything left. It’s covered in sand because they tried another machine to roost the flames out. He’s pretty shaken up but ok. Can’t tell what caused this but will be inspecting all the other cars to ensure there isn’t a problem. This car has always run great. Definitely a bummer deal!”
